Monday Bowl

Bad Saturday, just never know the motivations of these kids and impacts of transfer/sit outs. Almost forgot this game, being in VA, had to call up offshore, which I hate but I like the action and Like this side.
Coach Helton's nephew is in at QB (Turner Helton) and I do believe he will be prepared like his father (Clay Helton, now GA Southern Head Coach) who was QB at Auburn and Houston. WKU still has a better roster top to bottom here.
Hilltoppers won six of last seven series games (5-2 ATS). Last meeting was a 43-20 WKU win at Old Dominion, two years ago. Meanwhile, ODU had to win last 2 games to get bowl eligible at 6-6. Also interesting, Old Dominion is 1-1 SU/0-2 ATS in bowl games (2017, 2021). Going with some bowl experience and better team, which usually shines through in these games.

I haven't, but i played it as if he wasn't earlier with Helton. However, will welcome it if he does play, even better. Just saw the line swing, wow. Glad i got it early today. LOL

this uncertainty should further disadvantage ODU Monarchs. Last few days ODU prepared to see Helton, and not so much starting QB, now this throws a wrench in their gameplan if other QB plays even a few series. Good headfake by WKY coach here if this is the case. My team in college always had issues prepping for a 2nd QB, we always got burned by the next guy.

Well, that was easy. Despite the blunder of coach helton starting his nephew which cost them 28-35 points. THE MUCH BETTER TEAM WON.

yes sir! win on a comeback with this one lose on eagles BS at the end on MNF. ahh good ole football this time of year.
