I smell an inflated price in Toronto tonight, as the Raptors early 3-0 mark - including a big showdown win over Boston - and the fact they won all 4 meetings versus Charlotte a season ago by almost a 14 points per game margin has the price on this Monday meeting with the Hornets a little "pricy".
Strong chance the Raptors take the Hornets a little lightly tonight based on the facts I just mentioned, but Charlotte has come out and been very competitive so far, losing by just one point on opening night at home to Milwaukee before winning outright in both Orlando and Miami in their last pair of games!
Charlotte has used the oddsmakers line help to go 14-5 the past 19 visits to Canada, and are 24-11 overall the last 25 series meetings against Toronto.
I see the Raptors leaving the back-door open tonight as the Hornets keep it close enough to get the underdog cover.

Big price on the Bucks at home tonight, but with just the Knicks on the schedule tonight, I will lay the lumber.
This series has been heavily in Milwaukee's favor, as they have won 5 in a row over New York, and 8 of the past 10 in this series straight up. Against the spread, they have covered in 2 of the last 3, and 3 of the last 5 wins.
The Bucks are off to a 2-0 start to the young season, and they did just tune up Indiana by a comfortable 17 points on Friday night. That's a nice little couple of days off as they get set to face this Knicks team that has covered in all 3 of their games this year, but do bring loses in their last pair of games into this Monday meeting.
Milwaukee has not opened the year 3-0 since back in 2005, and a big part of their current 2-0 start is both their health, and their long-range shooting, as the Bucks netted 17 long-balls in their Friday rout of the Pacers. The Bucks are not shy when it comes to letting it rip, and that will tip the scales tonight.

Now, on Monday, the Flyers get their opportunity for revenge as they host the Avs. Keep in mind, Colorado was great at home last season but only won 15 road games. Only one team (Arizona) in the entire Western Conference won fewer road games than the Avalanche last season! In other words, this is the ideal spot for revenge. The Flyers will be fully focused as they don't play again until Thursday and that game is on the road. Bet Philadelphia on the money line (-) in evening action Monday.

I'll take my chances here with Memphis as a double-digit dog against the Jazz. I just think this is way too many points for Utah to be laying with the way they have struggled on the defensive side of the ball early on. It's easy to ignore the 124 points and 56.3% shooting the Jazz allowed to the Warriors in their last game, because that's what Golden State does to teams, but they also allowed 117 points and 51.6% shooting to the Kings in their season opener. Memphis couldn't have played or shot any worse than they did in their opener at Indiana, where they went a dreadful 25 of 84 (29.8%) from the field. I like the way they responded in their 131-117 win over Atlanta and this is a Grizzlies team that should be much improved with some nice additions and the return of point guard Mike Conley, who missed most of last year with an injury. If Utah is still salting their wounds from the last second loss to the Warriors, Memphis could win this game outright. Give me the Grizzlies +10.5!
