Mods...How do you do it??

I've know Fish for over 20 years and I don't know how he puts up with all the bs bandied about here. Cheap shots, accusations, etc. It never ends. When I lived in Vegas one of my rules was to not bs with players. Bs about bad beats, crying, ad nauseum. It never ends. I know when I even brought up a bad beat with Fish and his BM buddies their eyes would glaze over. They have heard it all. I learned quickly to never bring it up. You are dealing with people who for the most part are not playing to win anyway...only for the action. An irrational, f'd up group if there ever was one. Mods...you have my sympathy.

For the most part, its pretty fun actually.....95% of the posters on this site are here to exchange info, have fun, and talk about sports, those are the ones I like....there are some that simply want to cause trouble, make false accusations, call everyone names, those are the ones u feel sorry for....Cuz their lives must be pretty empty to get such a thrill out of trying to bring others down......

As for the BS, i see it all over....I used to enjoy reading some other sites, but when u see them constantly MAKING THINGS UP, saying BLATANT LIES, about you, you just start to ignore it.....Once you meet some of these people, you understand why this is a way of life to them, its all they have.....

Once you learn to realize that people that know you, like you, you dont worry so much about the ones that dont know you.....

As for the RX posters i have met in person, they were all very nice, and cordial, and fun to hang around.....

Overall its a pretty good group here......

Mods...you have my sympathy.

Rejoice with us. No need to dwell on the negative. Moderating is not that difficult. It's a lot of common sense. We are the crossing guards, fireman, & policemen. It's a job and nothing personal. When you allow yourself to take it personal, you will have a rough time. Other than, it is quite easy to ignore trash and watch it float away over time.
