Mod tech question

I have been getting some error messages when uploading some pictures. I have the file saved as a JPEG and the error says not a valid file. The exact wording says JPEG File Interchange Format. What am I doing wrong?

Try saving it as a gif file. The software can be a little picky about file types-feel free to email it to me if you can't get it to work.

ot and i don't wanna hijack this thread or clutter a new thread, but TTinco, i heard you may be able to bypass admin rights at work to get flash using usb memory stick. is that true? thanks as i'm trying to watch utube

Off the top of my head, I would tend to say no. Are you saying that they have flash disabled on all the workstations?

(If they wanted to block access to Youtube, I don't know why they just wouldn't do it at the firewall)

Mgrs have flash, they just prevent us from installing it, and anything for that matter for viruses. i got lucky and had it for a while then they changed computers. our tech dept is 10 years behind the times. my company would save so much money if they just banned the url myspace and youtube. i guess they think we'd kill bandwith w/ utube

I think you're out of luck. It sounds like you don't have local admin access & that they have a policy setup that prevents Flash from being loaded under your profile.

Either that or maybe they're into the idea of you guys freakin WORKING rather than spending the day watching dogs catch frisbees or the latest clip of the World HotDog eating championship
