For those of you who had already subscribed I gave out Atlanta +3 as a best bet tonight way back on August 12th telling you to grab the points knowing the line would drop. It has. In any case, you have the Falcons as a home underdog on Monday Night Football in their season opener playing with revenge for a season ending loss at <st1:City w:st="on"><st1lace w:st="on">Philadelphia</st1lace></st1:City> in the NFC championship game last season. In fact, <st1:City w:st="on"><st1lace w:st="on">Atlanta</st1lace></st1:City> has been eliminated two of the last three seasons in the playoffs by the Eagles. A game you know the Falcons want. Last season <st1:City w:st="on"><st1lace w:st="on">Atlanta</st1lace></st1:City> was 8-1 at home behind Vick. In 2003 Vick was injured and only played weeks 14 through 17 going 2-0 at home and 3-1 overall. The Falcons are 10-1 straight-up in Vicks last 11 home starts and 16-4 in Vicks last 20 home starts over the last 3 seasons. In 2002, <st1:City w:st="on"><st1lace w:st="on">Atlanta</st1lace></st1:City> was 6-3 at home behind Vick in his first year as a starter. The Falcons have made the playoffs in Vick's two full non-injury seasons as a starter (2002, 2004). This should be the Eagles toughest game of the season and you cannot ignore the fact that <st1:City w:st="on"><st1lace w:st="on">Atlanta</st1lace></st1:City> is 25-12-1 in the 38 games Vick has started over the last 3 seasons. <st1lace w:st="on"><st1:City w:st="on">Atlanta</st1:City></st1lace> + is the right side tonight in a much more meaningful game for the Falcons than for the Eagles.<o></o>
