Someone tell me how in the hell can they NOT like Kansas City tonight. I mean have people watched Oakland this year? This team is absolutly terrible. They have to be to lose to the Bears, get crushed in Denver (on Monday night none the less) and Lose to a pretty dispicable Cleveland team.

I just don't see ANY way KC doesn't win tonight and cover the 4. Home or Road KC is much the better team this year, anyone tossing out stats on Oakland from last year or the previous year should have their heads checked. Its liek comparing apples and oranges.

Anyway, let me know what you all think.

its called the N F L

NOT FOR LONG...if it looks too easy , it is!

Raiders probably win outright, don't ask me why but they probably will...and sometimes thats the best way to bet , on a hunch, because on paper it looks like KC 35 Oak 10...

I learned my lesson on the Dallas/ Eagles last week there is no lock in gambling.

I felt stronger that the Eagles would win than KC covering tonight.

I agree with JourneyMan.

The Chiefs look like the sure play at -4. I am not playing the side just some props.

MNF home dog

Oakland on MNF

Public on KC

Those are three reasons for me NOT TO play on KC. Will I play Oakland? 50-50

Raiders season on the line tonight....remember KC could be 3-3 very very easily! they will come back down to earth...I am not making a case for why to take Oakland...I have passed and only have Oak in a teaser...

But the reason's anyone gives has nothing to do with real stats on the field. I mean nothing the Radiers has done can even compare with KC to this point of the season. Last week's game had the same feel. Hell i can't even remember the last time a Monday night game had a big upset, sorry INDY/TAMPA was no upset in my eyes. Especially considering Indy was undefeated going in.
Can't see anything but a KC victory here, the Radiers are done as a team, may not win more than 2 more games all year with their old tired legs..

Don't you think they're due to cover tonight?
My money is on Oakland, not + the pts, but to win outright.

Good luck to everyone though.

Due?

HELL NO, maybe DUE to get their ass's beat LOL

What, from what you have seen, if you have even watched, would lead you to believe they could possibly beat KC?

They can't run, can't stop the run, can't pass much either...this will be a romp.

Heres just 1 point.

D.Hall saved KC two weeks ago...They should have lost.

They should have lost to GB last week.

They are not dominating everyone and this game is against a hungry Oakland team in Oak.

You probably thought the same way on week 1 MIA/HOU.
All i'm saying is you never know in NFL.
If it's so unlikely why the spread is so low???
You talk like KC should be a 8½ pt favourite.
We'll see what happens.

Raiders league last run defense vs. Holmes who gained 461 yards from scrimmage 259 rushing, and 202 receiving, and scored three touchdowns in the last two meetings with the Raiders. He missed last year's monsoon game win by the Raiders. Not to mention Raider Off. line banged up, RT. Linclon Kennedy ? LG. Frank Middleton very ? RG. Mo Collins ?. The Dante Hall factor, Hall's punt return ave. of 22.9, may force Raiders league leading punter Shane Lechler to resort to directional kicking to defuse Hall.
Jerry Rice vs. Chiefs DB Eric Warfield, last year Rice 7 catches for 66 yards vs. Warfield.
Raider Def. Line also banged up, DTs John Parrella (groin) and Dana Stubblefield (ankle) questionable. Jerry Porter should play for the first time this year coming off a hernia injury. How effective he will be is another question mark. IMO. this game will turn on how much protection the Raiders Off. line can afford Rich Gannon. If the Chiefs can apply enough pressure with their front 4, (leaving 7 in pass coverage) they should win and cover. Watch for battle in the trenches when the Raiders are on Offense to decide this one.

If Oakland wins the MNF game by 20 points no one should be surprised. this is the NFL. No outcome is out of the question.

RBs sail through the Chiefs
Johnston Farrow

The Kansas City Chiefs are undefeated, feature one of the best offenses in the NFL – and serve as a doormat for running backs.

The KC run defense ranks 27th in the NFL, plummeting from No. 1 after the first two weeks of the season. The Chiefs allow a more-than-generous 132 yards a game on the ground.

"It all started with Baltimore," free safety Jerome Woods told the Kansas City Star. "The teams that came after saw that. They must feel like they found a weakness."

Even though the Chiefs won the game 17-10, Ravens RB Jamal Lewis ran for 202 yards. The Broncos ganged up for 176 yards the next game. And last week, the Packers and Ahman Green ran for 183 yards.

"All three teams came in with a good game plan," said Chiefs linebacker Scott Fujita. "Combine that with having a great back and they're going to get some yards."

Although the Kansas City defense improved drastically from last year – it ranks seventh in the league – the run has torched the club. Part of the reason for the poor performance is that teams are stacking up extra TEs, and the Chiefs defensive backs can't handle the size of the bigger players.

"We didn't play as well with our down linemen as we needed to play," Chiefs head coach Dirk Vermeil said. "There's a special emphasis on the part of our coaches to improve the play of our defensive linemen."

The Oakland Raiders need to rush by any means necessary to beat the Chiefs. If the Raiders (24th in the NFL in rushing) get RB Charlie Garner going, they may do some damage.

But with a multitude of injuries, the Raiders have been forced to use four back-ups on their offensive line. They also run the ball less than any team in the league. Garner has only 284 rushing yards this season.

Basically that article contradicts itself,

"The radiers need to run, but...they can't" Is what it says
