Jaypaw-One thing I have learned through the years of betting bases-Don't bet against a team if they are on a win streak. 2) Don't bet on a team to win if they're on a losing streak. I'm talking like 6 or 7 games.(Sox-A's etc.) Good Luck in your action!

because of a momentum factor?

in reality streaks mean nothing - it all has to do with the matchup on the current day and the payout

to me if the matchup looks decent and the payout is anywhere on the high end of the +100s or somewhere around +200 then its worth at least a deeper look.


In this case Arroyo has a lot of pressure on him to hold the fort... and if he gets knocked out early then keep in mind - we have williamson and foulke pitched last night, and embree and timlin pitched yesterday in the day game.

That leaves only dinardo and Malaska who have at least a days rest, and my point is that IF arroyo gets into major trouble then you can bet on seeing these two, then after that it will be slim pickin's. Not that foulke cant pitch more than a day in a row - we all know he can do it and he can do it well - but its food for thought anyway

Jaypaw-Just something I have seen many times-trying to figure out when a winning or losing streak will come to an end. tell you the truth your percentage is better if you probably ride that team either way!
