MistaFlava's 2008-2009 NHL Record: 0-0 (+$0.00) 0%You won't find me betting NHL games all that much until football season is done but I am pretty damn good at it having played exhibition games in the OHL (when I was 19) before settling on a Jr. A team in the Ontario Provincial Jr. A League. I am a die hard Maple Leafs fan but I refuse to bet on them most of the time because it has not been profitable over the years.
So here we go with another season, going to bet on nights where there is no football or basketball or much else to bet on because let's face it, the NHL is not where the money is at.
Good Luck to all this season, let's make some money.

St. Louis Blues +135 (5 Units)
:toast:
It's been almost a full year since the Blues last beat the Wings at home and I don't see why they can't do it again. Sure they lost their last two home games against Detroit but prior to that they had won three straight at home against the Wings and Manny Legace is most definitely up for the challenge of playing against his old team. Chris Osgood has really not played well enough to win night after night. Detroit got lucky on the weekend against the Rangers needing OT to win that game and that was coming off an overtime loss to Vancouver. The Blues are off to a sizzling 4-1 start on the season and this is when they seem to be play their best hockey. They are coming off wins over Toronto, Dallas and Chicago (2 by shootouts) and have one of the hottest power plays in the NHL right now. I like the underdog here.
See you all in MLB tonight and CFB tomorrow.
