MistaFlava's 2015 NFL Record: 0-0 ATS (+0.00 Units)

I will not commit to posting here daily or weekly but I will keep an honest record, post some picks, some opinions, have discussions and all that good stuff. I love handicapping, I've made a killing on live bets the last couple of years and I feel I can share some knowledge and angles on games that can be helpful.

Feel free to share your own opinions and views, I can handle pretty much anything.

GOOD LUCK TO ALL THIS SEASON!

Pittsburgh Steelers +2.5 (10 Units)

I don't really know what most people are thinking but this is a road divisional game for the Ravens, the same Ravens who are 0-3 SU on the year and falling apart by the game. They have Cincinnati their best shot at home but couldn't get the job done on Sunday. That was huge. Now they have to turn thing around and play the 2-1 SU Steelers who are without Big Ben but who have a veteran QB and a Pro Bowl running game that should take care of itself.

Baltimore went to Denver and Oakland and left with losses. Pittsburgh demolished San Francisco at home a few weeks ago. Both defenses have struggled so far this season but offensively the Steelers average 7.0 yards per play to Baltimore's 5.5 yards per play. Until Joe Flacco plays like a decent QB you just can't back the Ravens. They've turned the ball over 1.6 times per game which means 5 turnovers in only 3 games this season and they've averaged 8.7 penalties per game. Big Ben would have been in trouble against this Ravens pass rush (7 sacks in first three games) but Vick can move around and make some plays. This might actually work better for the Steelers. The fact that Baltimore averages only 72.7 rushing yards per game this season makes them one-dimensional and the Steelers will be after Flacco all night.

The Ravens have covered the spread in only 3 of their last 12 games played in October, they are only 1-4-1 ATS in their last six versus AFC North opponents and they have covered the spread in only 2 of their last 13 games after allowing 350+ total yards of offense in their previous game. The Steelers on the other hand are 7-1 ATS in their last seven games overall, they have covered the spread in 7 of their last 9 games played in October and their run defense is good enough right now to make an impact.

Trend of the Game: Baltimore is 3-9 ATS in their last 12 games played in October.

Pittsburgh 20, Baltimore 13

Why the hell did Tomlin bypass kicking that FG in OT? :think2:

I realize Scobee had missed a pair of attempts before, but why not let him try at least? The guy's a veteran, and he has the leg to have nailed it from that distance.

Tomlin's stupid coaching cost you the ATS victory. Plain and simple IMO.

Well, it's a game so Scub got two chances and he didn't make it right. It's over and PIT will get a new kicker soon. Miss too many Fgs this season.
