MistaFlava's 2008 CFB Record: 22-22-1 ATS (-$3080) 50%
Not the kind of season I was hoping to be having at the midway point but what can you do? My NFL season has been a lot better than my college football as I am up $14000+ in the NFL but down some money here. So what to do? Screw the PS2 and those simulations, I just don't have patience to deal with the hoopla and inconsistency of the system. Now don't forget I am by far the worst handicapper ever on the RX according to some so tailing me or following me could be hazardous. Whatever. This is a make or break week for me because I can be back in the money by the time this is all said and done or I can pretty much forget about my goals for the season. I am optimistic so let's do this.
The goal for the season remains to hit 65% of my plays or hit the 1000 Unit mark.
1 Unit = $100
Week 1: 4-6 ATS (+3.20 Units)
Week 2: 3-3 ATS (-12.50 Units)
Week 3: 2-3-1 ATS (-29.00 Units)
Week 4: 3-4 ATS (+7.00 Units)
Week 5: 5-2 ATS (-16.00 Units)
Week 6: 5-3 ATS (+27.50 Units)
Week 7: 0-1 ATS (-11.00 Units)
Week 8: ---No Plays---
Week 9: Pending
You can tail, you can fade or you can just watch. I have always been a streaky capper. When things are not going well I don't just sit there and watch, I take action and make myself better. Good Luck to all this week!

Temple Owls -3 (5 Units)
:toast:
Most cappers won't touch this game tonight but I won't go a football night without having action on a game and here is what I came up with. Temple is a much better team in 2008 than they were in 2007. In their one and only lifetime meeting, Ohio beat the Owls 23-7 last season as a -9 point home favorite. Well the tides have turned. Both teams have been pretty damn good ATS wise this season with Ohio going 4-1 ATS on the road and Temple going 2-0 ATS in their only two home games. Should be a pretty good game. Temple's defense has been pretty damn good at home allowing only 9.5 points per game on 4.6 yards per play so despite having a better offense than Temple, you can expect Ohio to have their fair share of problems scoring points here. Both teams have sketchy run defenses and Ohio could do some damage on the ground in this game but I'm not too concerned. This is a sloppy game where I don't see either team scoring much so you have to go with the home team who have competed in both their home games going 2-0 ATS but have lost both home games. Time to turn things around. Temple lost to Western Michigan by 4 at home and lost to UConn at home in overtime so believe me when I say they can compete in this place. Lets do it.
I will post the rest of my Week 9 selections on gamedays (Thursday, Friday, Saturday)
GOOD LUCK TO ALL!
