Minutemen Roll tonight!!!!

1-1 last night to end my six game win streak, back today to start another one. 46-41-1 overall with one play right now.

Umass -9, The Minutemen are playing well right now. They beat Lasalle Saturday (granted Lasalle is bad) but they were coming off the FSU win and they usually lose after a big win. URI is starting 3 freshman due to injuries to top scorer Robinson and company, the Rams have one road win this year, and only shot 30% from the field at home versus Umass in their first meeting. On top of this the World Series trophy will be at the Mullins Center tonight, so a big crowd is expected and the excitement of having the trophy there should generate some enthusiasm on the part of fans and players alike. I expect Umass to pound the Rams tonight. A win tonight would lock up an NIT berth. UMASS by 19. Good Luck and FREAKOUT!!!!!!!!!!!

Kruser- I do not like the first half play. Umass has a tendency to start slow and end with a flourish (51 pts 2nd half versus FSU) or go into long draughts of 5 or 6 minutes without scoring. The half time score could be close, I would stick with Umass wearing the Rams thin in the second half and pulling away.
