Minnesota vs Detroit on 12/11 by Mike_Jones

Handicapper Analysis 0
The over/under is way too high in view of the fact that Detroit's defense is not what it was under previous defensive backs coach Aubrey Pleasant.

Since his firing, the Lions have won four of five straight games and, relevantly to the total, have allowed more than 18 points twice.

They allowed over 18 points to two teams that utilized their mobile quarterback -- Chicago with Justin Fields and Buffalo with Josh Allen -- to full effect.

Fields and Allen struggled to pass well, but they ran productively.

Minnesota, though, is obviously unlike Chicago or Buffalo in that Kirk Cousins does not run.

Both teams will need to score a lot for the "over" to hit with such a high total, but Minnesota will not score much.
