Minn/Hou Total @ 175??

Any thoughts on this. At first glance, I really like the over here. Even without McGrady's 20 points per game, I think it goes over the total. Very rarely does a T-Wolves game stay this low...they have a lot of scorers and will look to run tonight.

Minn totals this year - 192, 186, 191, 203

Houston - 166, 183, 170, 205, 177

Both teams coming in well rested.

Houston has given up 87, 95, 81, 101, and 87 in their games this year.

Minnesota will probably score around 100 tonight...should go over. Thoughts?

Never mind, just saw it in another thread, he's definitely OUT for the game.

No opinion from me, I haven't seen him enough with Houston yet to know what impact he might have on the Rockets gameplan tonight. Will they delibierately slow it down and try to work a lot of half court sets to the big man? Lean would be with you but a no play for me, good luck.

Without TMAC the rockets will definitely switch to a half court game with Yao working the inside out. This will make it more like the Rockets of last year. I suspect Minny will double and triple team Yao and make the other rockets beat them. JVG had the Rockets as the best defensive team by field goal percentage and look for him to emphasize defense again tonight. Still that number is low but not as low as you think.
