BOS Final ruling..

After much discussion I recieved the final position from BOS regarding Artie's dispute with BetMill. I want to say that I strongly advised BOS management that there was room to argue that Artie is not a syndicate player or a gambling syndicate but they ruled that his betting pattern indicated that he is. Rx. management is dissappointed that this dispute did not turn out differently but (to answer future inquires) will not be removing BOS or BetMill as advertisers over this ruling. That is a firm Rx. management decision.

Thank you, wilheim..

BOS Management Ruling regarding Artie Dispute:

Good afternoon
<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
We have read the posts concerning our actions with customers breaking our rules and regulations on your forum (and on several other forums), and would like to respond to ensure you, and your clients, understand
(i) the reasons for our actions (as outlined on all our websites), and
(ii) that in NO WAY is BetOnSports.com or any of the BETonSPORTS Plc companies stealing anything from any client.

The reasons for our actions are as follows:

1. When the client joined BetOnSports.com and BetMill.com, the client agreed to the following Rules & Regulations on our website (for example, see http://betonsports.com/rules/):

Rule #4: The client (the "Client" or "you") will be deemed to have accepted all rules by opening an account or by placing a wager with BETonSPORTS.

Rule #16: BETonSPORTS reserves the right to void any transaction where individuals are suspected of acting in conspiracy or concert. BETonSPORTS does not honor Wagers placed by employees or agents of sports wagering groups or where there is evidence that a series of wagers each containing the same selection(s) has been placed by the same individual or syndicate.

Rule #19: Wagering from professional gambling syndicates or syndicate agents is expressly prohibited by BETonSPORTS. Any person or persons affiliated with such organizations is subject to having wagers voided and accounts closed.

Rule # 44: Bonus Policy: All bonus money and promotional money is credited immediately (pagers and/or cell phones shipped immediately), but are yours to keep only after you have met all aspects of the bonus policy. Otherwise, bonus amounts, transfer fee amounts, promotional amounts, and/or pager and cell phone costs will be deducted from your account prior to any withdrawal being processed. If a withdrawal is made before the bonus terms are met, all bonus funds AS WELL AS any money won or lost by wagering the bonus, or part thereof, will be forfeited.

Rule # 46: Eligibility for Bonuses is entirely at the discretion of BETonSPORTS.

In NO WAY is BetOnSports.com or BETonSPORTS Plc stealing anything from any client:

Any client that breaks one or more of the Rules & Regulations above, can be stopped from playing with any BETonSPORTS book. In which case the client will be paid out his deposit and ALL WINNINGS directly associated with his deposit.

In Summary, it is clear to BetOnSports.com and BETonSPORTS Plc that any client who joins, breaks our Rules & Regulations, will have their account closed BUT will be treated fairly on exit.

Thank you for your time,

Personally, have received outstanding service from all of the above mentioned books and have never had nary a problem with any of them.............I don't believe ever.

I wonder if your standing as a moderator lends you a tad bit more insurance against the types of stiff jobs described in this thread than the average player?

Artie, With The RX and SBR working on this criminal investigation, you may see some justice. I share your sage advice to stay away from these scumbags as I too have been robbed by Millennium.

Then again considering it is BOS, justice may not be seen.

Artie

Do you care to share what you wagered? I mean post your plays?

I don't see how their "syndicate steam runner" argument can hold any water if you are betting a large number of small plays. However, if you were betting the limit or your deposit balance every time and placed the bet right around the time the line steamed, I do see where they are coming from (not that I agree with their policy).

Thank you Wil. Posters should not blame the Rx. Wil is as good of guy as there is in this industry and that's the truth.

Even if we lose this battle, as we apparently have, Wil's statement alone fires a shot accross the bow of books who think they can get away with this in the future. As players and posters we have to be realistic about sites taking down major sponsors who make it possible to have a place to meet in the first place. We did not help this player and that is as terrible as it gets. I hope we prevented this from happening again but I wouldnt bet on it. Wil did try and he deserves credit for trying.

this is some late april fools day joke, right? unreal....

these fuckers can do whatever they want, and then when they straight out steal from someone, they are endorsed by a site like this, what a fucking joke.

hey Fish, what are you going to do when they apply this rule to you?

total BS, and what amazes me(well not really) is the RX is leaving them as a sponsor.

I also remove any positive comment i said about BoS the other day.

Anyone reading this and if you have money there pull it out, and spread the word too.

Don't bother posting about how great BOS, BetMill, nine.com or BCN are, no one listens to your drunk fish ass any longer. Luckily someone copied your moronic post before it got deleted.

This place has alway's been for squares and losers only. Anyone betting large sums should never post up with this shop. Too many other top notch books that will take all action. Betonsports will cut your limits in a heart beat. Over seventy f*cking rules just to put action on a game, that is crazy. I've been gambling for 35 years and have never had a problem the last fifteen or so betting online. I have had three very profitable college football seasons and have never had my limits cut or any trouble getting paid. I spread my action around and I am very careful with whom I place bets. Stick to the proven shops and you will sleep better at night. It's not like this place just started screwing people in the ass, they have been at it for many years. I'll leave you guys with a list of my favorite shops. Good luck.

1. CRIS
2. Pinnacle
3. The Greek
4. WSEX
5. Diamond International

PS If you need more just ask.

Buzzsaw - thank you very much. I know SBR, yourself and Bill Dozer worked very hard in behalf of Artie.

I really have to chuckle at their tactics. The guy's obviously a loser long term, so why didn't they let him bet his normal way and wait for him to bust out so he would reload again? Poor judgement by management.

Since they are marking him as a syndicate I hope they are voiding ALL of his wagers, including the $23,000 he lost before this robbery.

Wilheim,

what you are saying is this is a gray area best, a really weak accusation. I also notice you did not raise any accusations of circumventing limits.

You're kidding right? This is the most asinine thing I believe I have ever read on this board. Or should I say asinine.com?

Are you kidding me? Fishhead is such a gambling god that his best trick isn't beating the books out of a minimum of 6 figures a year, it's that he never gets the boot. He still gets the loyalty program from Cris. Nine.com gives him top line limits even though most everybody else gets 9 dollar limits after their first 2 bets (I'm talking about bettors with half a clue). He still is at SIA and hasn't been shown the door. BOS and Mill are his top notch books so we know he hasn't gotten any "wise guy" treatment there. He still loves to play at Bodog and Bowmans although most advantage players hate these books. Ditto for WWTS. BCN was a fantastic out for him. Betjamacia hasn't kicked him out yet. He loves the new Hollywood and has had nothing but great experiences with them.

I could go on and on but I think you get the idea.

This guy is the greatest of all time. I think Billy Walters envies him.
