Like it matters?? Not like its guaranteed or anything.

From Vicks stand point starting QB positions would be more available to him in a year once the fresh out of jail status wears off. Especially if he gets on the field and shows quality.

Get Vick's ass there and start playing him tonight !!! haha

I'm a Vick fan and excited to see what he can do, just wondering how he fits into Philly other than Wildcat offense and reciever.

If there were no market for him (as it appeared), then he wasnt in any position to turn down a 2 year deal.

That definitely appears to be the case. Eagles may have been that only team putting a solid contract out there for him.

I dont think it is the best fit for him personnel wise given what they already have, but at least he is on a contender.. he wont have many opportunities to look bad

Michael Vick will never be a good NFL quarterback. He's simply not intelligent enough. I think the Eagles are wasting their time and money on him.

Couple things... first being that Vick lead the Falcons to an NFC Championship game, so whether or not he is intelligent, he still accomplished more than what many QBs in the NFL are capable of.

Right now I agree he probably wouldnt be a good QB right off the top, but that has nothing to do with the Eagles wasting time or money... obviously they are set at QB and are not bringing him in to be a good QB this year. He is a weapon who can lineup all over the field I am sure a coach like Andy Reid will find a way to use one of the more athletic players of the last decade

Right now Jamarcus Russell starts in Oakland.. Culpepper in Detroit.. Jackson in Minnesota.. Alex Smith in San Fran.. Orton in Denver. I would take Vick over any of these guys 10 out of 10 times, among others
