I know a lot of solid cappers are liking the Rams this weekend but keep one thing in mind. Mike Martz is an absolute terrible coach. I've seen him mismanage the clock and waste timeouts time and time again. I won't even get into his play calling. I don't like the game either way but Martz is awful and there is no way I'm backing his team with my money. Tomorrow he will do something stupid.

hitter.....i was thinking the same thing....i grabbed the 8......i really think that the rams might just be the weakest link in the nfc playoff group.....i know they have a fantastic home field advantage.....but i don`t think they are very physical...

i watched the ravens,in a night game earlier this year,push them all over the field....literally dominate the line of scrimmage....the rams won because they got every break,every fluky play possible.....and i liken the panthers to the ravens....a physical,tough running team....

the difference between the ravens and the panthers is that the ravens have a better secondary......but,the panthers have a much better defensive line....much better....and they will pressure bulger.....and bulger makes mistakes....the panthers also have a much better passing game than the ravens if the rams stack the line.......steve smith and mushin muhammad can do some damage....

i think the only team left in the playoffs that the rams beat,much less played,was the packers....and the pack backed in....

i think 8 is fairly substantial...could they get blown out?...sure....but i`ll take the 8 and take my chances....

he is so arrogant, i doubt whether he believes this to be a "big game". it is amazing the basic mistakes he makes like timeout/clock management.

Martz could "manage" his team to a loss and no one would know the difference. His style if you can call it that is strange to say the least.

marshall faulk 11 carries!!!

this fool doesnt realise bulgers favorite friend and weapon is faulk and the running game

he never ever trys to start the by opening the pass by running the ball first

they live and die by the pass

if bulger gets hot early, the rams roll, but if he gets erratic in the beginning they turn the ball over and it gets to late for faulk and the running game to work

have you noticed faulks numbers and touches went down after vermeil

vermeil uses priest holmes w/ rushes and screen passes early and often. this loosens t gonzalos and the recievers later on. vermeil knows the runningback needs touches to get in a groove and gets the defense guessing when they start passing.

up by 10 at the half

has bulger throwing 3 picks, sacks, fumbles. the better coaches would of had faulk touching the 20 times in the 2nd half

w/ martz putting all the pressure on bulger to win the game and not faulk,
early on if bulger gets sacked or is wild,look for bulger to crack

bulger is not really mentally strong yet w/ martz head games
martz might even pull him for warner

hey guys, Carolina can win even on the road if they come out and play physical Defense. The Rams are very overrated. As far as the Fight, Mitchell looks good. Good luck to all this weekend.

Martz is a flat out idiot. I loved when the half was running down and it was 4th down for Carolina and he didnt use a timeout. Instead he saved it for a seven yard completion when they were on offense after first down. That perfectly illustrates how stupid he is.

I`m serious when I say this I think Martz is a not very smart person. We all rant and rave about the idiocy of various sports people, but I think he is actually stupid. He makes Rose look like a Mensa member. There is no other explanation for the moves he keeps on making. Or he has naked pics of Georgia w/LT.

The worst coaching decision I can remember. What signal does it send to your offense and in particular QB? "I don't trust you not to turn the ball over so I'm going for a FG". I would have felt pretty deflated if I was Bulger.
I don't see the difference between the last minute of a game and overtime. In overtime Martz throw and he threw an interception. So he lets him throw at midfield, but won't allow one of the best offences in the NFL 3 goes at the end zone from 15 yards.
I know that if I was in the Carolina team I would have been thinking that defeat was on the cards and then felt like we'd had a 2nd chance when it went to overtime. A rejuvenated Carolina vs a probably deflated STL. Maybe this had something to do with the fact that Car instantly marched into position to win the game in OT.
