Hey Mikle.Good night so far.I was worried about 1 thing and offer this suggestion.



you said you bet Chicago last night at 3 1/2,which I totally believe.what hurts the guys following,is there is no way they got the 3 1/2,yet the best line on the bulls at the time of the post was 5 's.therefore if they followed,they all lost.



Anyway, I got Chicago -3.5 last night, along with my Phoenix and Boston bets.
If you don't believe me, I can cut and paste my picks from my "open tickets" page @ betonsports.com.





I have a great idea.since with your system,your plays are already known in advance,why not post the plays early.In this case,your followers might have even middled this game.



opened 3 1/2 closed 5 or 5 1/2.......the game hit a clean middle.



So again,I really respect the time and effort you are putting in,and so doea everyone here.I also think you are gonna be a great capper when you perfect everything.


Just in this case,when I posted earlier,where did you find 3 1/2,I knew there weren't any around at the time.So yes,your play you made last night did win,but nobody got to prosper. Instead of winning 2 units,whoever followed this play lost 2.2 units.



So,only hope,if you know your plays in advance,post them early to prevent this from happening.again,all the best Mike,you are doing a great job.If anything,this should teach you something about middling.you could have had 3 1/2 and bought back +5 1/2 for the clean middle,

IMO lines change and on games that end within a point or two of a line that has moved are always going to work in favor of some and against others. I'm sure Mike has taken losses for games that moved favorably from the line he posted and ended up costing him a win. It all works out. For example, he played Chicago -3 1/2 and my pick tonight was Denver which I got at +5. We both won, but some that took Chicago at the late line would have lost. I came out on the short end of the Detroit play the other night also, but such is life for the regular gambler. Thanks for the hard work and time you and Jack both put into your thread.


On another note, I just have Bet on Sports also. Why are they not highly regarded by some of you? I don't have a lot of experience dealing with sportsbooks, but they have always posted my winnings immediately following a win. I have never had a complaint. So why are they less desired as opposed to Pinnacle and others? Thanks.

Steam, you are right, I will post my picks as early as possible. But the advice should be coming from you. It is because of you that I won those bets and some others in the past. You told me the general rule of betting favourites and dogs.
Jack has been posting my plays ASAP, so if everyone knows to bet favourites early and dogs late, then everyone would have won these picks too.

Second I have a ??? I was one of those that got the Bulls at 5 and lost, I also had Detroit the last game at +2 and lost should I now follow the progression and fade Denver and play Detroit as this is what the system says???

It makes sense as I lost and these are both plays...

Obviously, I was not attempting to bash you as I believe you have done an excellent job to date. Further, I was not suggesting that you are "padding" lines. However, as you know, overnight lines are typically unobtainable unless you play at Pinny or Oly and actually play the games at Midnight the night before......As previously suggested, if you you have the selections completed the night before, perhaps you can post late evenings for next day...?

If so, that is great. If not, please keep in mind that most of the followers/posters in the site will get the adjusted line and therefore may be losing some of the games (i.e, Chicago-3.5 vs. -5) Thus, if you are going to post late morning or early afternoon, please update your lines and determine if you still have a play.

That is all, just trying to provide a meaningful suggestion to the benefit of all in the forum.

You are playing ON Utah (4 units) tonight to cover the loss on the 23rd.

What are you doing to cover the AG Seattle loss on the 25th?
I assumed you would fade them in their next game on the 28th.
Or maybe combine the two and make tonight's game a 6 unit play?
