Notre Dame getting alot of Love at the Windows, -5 at most places now.

That's because all everyone wanted to talk about going into week one was their offensive weapons. Their defense just held one of the most dangerous dual threat quarterbacks in all of college football to zero points.

I look at it as Weiss vs. Rodriguez, but I don't like either one.

All and all, this is like the Game of the week.

agreed.....everyone keeps saying they "only" beat Nevada...and while thats true, that might explain why they got 35, but doesnt explain why the defense got a shutout.......Nevada's weakness is NOT their offense.....and their qb is very good.....that was an impressive effort for the Irish on the defensive side of the ball...and Weiss seemed back at home calling the plays.....

this might be a good year for the Irish..

Easy answer is ND because of the cupcake schedule they've got this year.

The Big Ten isn't great but Michigan's schedule is tougher than ND's...

Agreed... but you gotta get up pretty early in the morning to limbo under ND's schedule!!!

Doc

Notre Dames schedule is made up years and years ahead of time. Its not Notre Dames fault that teams like Michigan, Purdue, Michigan State, Washington, Boston College, Pittsburgh and Stanford are not performing up to par or are not fielding teams that might not be as dangerous as they should be.

For as easy as everyone is making this schedule out to be. Notre Dame has the 36th toughest schedule in the nation. That is still a respectable schedule. There are other big time programs who were ranked ahead of Notre Dame coming into the season whos schedule is ranked easier: 39) Ohio State, 40) Texas, 51) California, 68) Alabama 71) BYU, 72) Penn State, 77)Ole Miss, and 117) Boise State. All of those teams are ranked ahead of Notre Dame, but because Notre Dame fields the most haters in college football you don't hear nothing about all of those other teams schedules just Notre Dames.

The winner of next week's game. My $$$ is on ND (line immediately moved 2 points when it came out, have to follow the bettors moving these lines), but my heart is on the Maize and Blue.

SOUTH BEND, Ind. (AP) -Navy did it to Notre Dame again - and this loss to the Midshipmen is even more costly.
Craig Schaefer sacked Jimmy Clausen in the end zone with 60 seconds left Saturday and Navy held on for a 23-21 victory, its second straight at Notre Dame Stadium.
No. 19 Notre Dame (6-3) scored with 24 seconds left on a 31-yard pass from Jimmy Clausen to Golden Tate to cut the lead to two, but the ensuing onside kick went out of bounds.
The win sends Navy into the Texas Bowl and effectively ends any hope Notre Dame (6-3) had for a Bowl Championship Series berth.

11-14-09:

MADISON, Wis. -- Scott Tolzien tied a career high with four touchdown passes and scored on a sneak, and No. 21 Wisconsin made Michigan's miserable Big Ten season even worse with a 45-24 victory Saturday.
Nick Toon caught two of Tolzien's touchdown throws for the Badgers (8-2, 5-2), who went to the air after putting together monster rushing performances in their previous two games.
It was the third consecutive win for the Badgers -- and sweet payback on Senior Day for a team that struggled after blowing a lead to Michigan last year.
Tate Forcier was a solid 20 of 26 for 188 yards with two touchdowns and an interception, but it wasn't enough to spare the Wolverines from their sixth straight conference loss. After a 4-0 start to the season, the Wolverines (5-6, 1-6) now are reeling going into next Saturday's matchup with rival Ohio State.
