yes he did have vertigo plus went through a bad break up with a long time girlfriend that really messed him up! But married and adopted a child so he's turning the corner.

Anyone else tired of hearing about Michelle Wie from ESPN and the media? She hasn't won 1 tournament I believe, amatuer or pro, yet they still talk about her. She hasn't won anything, yet she wants to go play with the men. Maybe she should go dominate the amateur ranks, move up to LPGA, then go to the PGA when she is done dominating the LPGA. I saw her choke away in the final round at the US Open. May be she should be learning how to win in the amateur ranks before she tries to win in the pros. She is overhyped.

i'm not tired of hearing about her .

i'm tired of hearing about barry bonds and terrel owens and kenny rogers and all the other losers espn talks about.

i'll never get tired of hearing about a kid who plays golf like she does at 15..

she has finished in the top 15 of something like 6 lpga majors . doesnt that count for something ?

she would have won over $ 250,000 so far this year if she could take the money. and thats in just a few tourneys...

she is worthy of the time she gets...

what were you doing when you were 15 ? mowing lawns ?

the 59 of the final round he shot at the hope at pga west was a thing of beauty...been downhill since...but you ever look at his swing...does leave something to be desired...he has to have nearly perfect timing with all the moving parts...especially his head that seems to come up before impact...

Wasn't that interested but Wie is really amazing. Under the microscope a 15 year old shoots under par. It's easy to bash plaers all the time, but in this case I think we should cheer the accomplishment and save the negative stuff for those who deserve it.

Good luck tomorrow. It won't be easy, that's for sure.

Cofan,

Wie won the USGA girl's publinx two years ago... the youngest winner ever. What is she going to play in? AJGA events? She's finished second in the LPGA Championship as an amateur and was leading the Ladies Open after 3 rounds. Do you really think playing against some 14-15 yr old girls in a city tourney is going to help her game? Hell, she's come closer to making a cut in a PGA tournament as 14 yr old than Tiger did as a 17 yr old. She's one of the top amateurs in the world and I think her prize money, if she could accept it would have her in the LPGA top 20 money winners this year. Yeah, she should go play with kids her own age. :hitting:
