May I ask what type of cancer your father has?

Lung Cancer. He was a heavy smoker which I’m sure contributed as the main factor. Tried to get him to quit for years but he had to want it for himself. Nicotine and all the other rat poison put in cigarettes is hard to ween away from. I am a believer in God for reasons other than faith alone. Reasons I’ll just hold to myself than share on this forum. I pray every day for my father and started praying for you too. If the mass is shrinking then who’s to say it can’t continue to shrink. I like the way you stay positive!! Remain that way. Those of us on this forum will continue the work of prayer.

During this time around, I had prostate cancer 17 years ago, I've seen 6 specialists.

A pulmonologist, neurologist, thoracic surgeon, 2 radiologists and a oncologist.

Each of them has the same opinion, while smoking is the #1 contributor it is not the
main cause. Behind smoking at #2 is asbestos exposure. 30 years ago it was coal mining
and steel manufacturing that were 1 and 2.

The main cause is a hereditary gene and there's nothing you can do about it.

So don't be too hard on your dad. If it wasn't lung cancer there is a high probability
it would have been another type.

I wish your father the best and with you having his back I'm pretty sure things will work out.

To quote Mick Jagger, what a drag it is getting old.

Keep us informed, Dave.

I tried to cross my fingers while typing. Another skill I failed at.

Getting old is a fucking drag, no doubt about that!

I need to stretch more. I feel better after stretching. Just hurts to stretch even more so now that I’m older LOL!

Yes you are indeed my friend. CT clinical nomenclature can give important insight into what is going on in your medical

situation. "Shrinking" and "unremarkable" findings are major and important terms. I am sure they were explained to you and

within the context of your medical predicament, you should be doing cartwheels my friend. Keep treating and please keep all

of us informed. We all here really care about you. We really do. Rock it out man! cheersgifcheersgifcheersgif
