The line is Miami -6. In my opinion, I think Miami should win this one rather easily. They are fresh off a nice 7 point win at U.F., and have gotten off to a pretty good start under new coach Frank Haith. F.I.U. is 3-2, but outside of Uconn, (51 point loss), they have not faced quality competition. I reside in the area, so I can tell you that the F.I.U. campus is literally 20 minutes away from the U.M. campus, taking away alot of the homecourt advantage for the Golden Panthers. Feel free to share any thoughts, and good luck.

Miami has won all but one of the contests against each other.
They should absolutely dominate them.

Thats why the line is so suspect....

I agree that the line looks a bit low under the circumstances, but maybe that's in part due to the fact that Miami hasn't really dominated anyone, and are coming off a huge win on the road against a ranked opponent. Either way good luck to you!

FIU is in my local school's conference(Sun Belt) and always finish last or close to it every year......we're talking about one of the weakest conferences in the country.......any major conference school should be a double digit favorite, home or not.

I'm on it.

The funny thing is, it's more like a neutral court. U.M.'s campus is literally 15-20 minutes away from where F.I.U. plays hoops. And being that UM is a much bigger school, I think the attendance will reflect that.

Excellent point.....when my school (UL Lafayette) played their last year the attendance was less than 1000....Miami will have the crowd advantage for sure.
