This line looks funny but yet it hasn't moved.I live in NC and love the pack but I would have thought against the no.2 team in the country maybe the line would have been much higher, say 14 or 15.I know that NC State has one of the best defences in the country but there offence is skeptic some games.ie.against UNC,boo!
But on the other hand I think it shows respect for a up and coming that coach Amato has put together even without QB Rivers.
Any insight would be appreciated.
I had honestly thought about buying it down to Miami - 6.5 for dinner money and if they don't cover it won't bother me to much.
It's not to bad to either beat or lose less than a TD to a Miami team than it is to a UNC team especilly under a highly questionable call.ie TD ruled not at UNC:mad:
Thanks for any positive thoughts or insights and they are greatly appreciatted.

Miami's near loss to Louisville has dropped the public's opinion of them (and rightfully so). People now realize that Miami will likely not get out of the ACC without a straight-up loss, let alone not covering. I love home dogs. NC State +7.5 looks like a good play, although NC State +10 looks even better! GL

Also remember that Berlin is typically bad on the road and against any type of a good defense. Despite the Packs inexperience at QB, they can play some defense. This will be a low scoring affair. Is there any word on whether McClendon is getting healthier. How can someone so talented always be nicked up. I don't think he's had a game where he has not been probable or questionable.

Panther I agree..

Yardage wise NC State is better on offense and defense, its just that their red zone offense stinks so far in the early season. I guess Vegas thinks that will turn around this weekend. Should be an interesting game to watch.

Don't Sleep on the Canes.

Miami has no problem stopping the run and has issues with teams that have high powered passing offenses. I do not think that NC State will be able to move the ball at all vs maimi as there passing offense is suspect. The QB has thrown more ints than TD's and Mclendon is hurt. He only had 1 carry against Maryland. Not sure how affective he will be with his hamstring all jacked up. I am sure he will play tho.

Also, this is not like previous Miami team with large ego. This team knows that they are not that good and will not underestimate opponents like the teams of the last few years have done. Do not look for them to come out flat.

I would take a look at Miami but I don't like laying points on the road. I also do not like the fact that 9 starters from NC State are from Florida.

I rather just pass.
