2-6 but I’m going to keep plugging away and turn this around. Here are my plays tonight.
Rider -3.5, Rider is 4-10 on the season with all four of their wins coming on the road. They've lost eight in a row. They have played the much, much tougher schedule as they've faced four power four conference teams. The head to head match up has Rider winning three times by four or less at Canisius. Canisius was 10-20 ly and are 0-14 this year also 5-9ats. Canisius Palesse averages 5.2 rebounds/gm, tops on the team with no one else over 3.4 boards/gm. Rider has three guys averaging more than 4 rebounds a game, including the biggest player on the court 6'9' 255llb Ingraham at 6.4. I think Rider wins this one in the end covering the short number.
Wisc -12.5 Wisconsin has won 7 in a row in the series but these two teams have played close games in Madison with the winning margin being less than 6 points. Wisconsin's front line of ex Minnesota high schoolers of Winters and Crowly both 7' will dominate Minny inside. Minny has 6'8 Parker Fox, 6'11 Dawson Garcia, who likes to play the small forward position and isn't aggressive on the inside. Badgers leading scorer Tonje is 6'5" and will draw the assignment of Odukale who is 6'6". Problem is Odukale fell off of the raised floor last game and badly bruised his ribs. He was on the floor in pain for nearly five minutes and returned for a showing but couldn't go due to the injury. If he can't guard him it will come down to the promising 6'3" freshman Asuma who is going to be a star in the future. Wisconsin's other two guards are 6'4" compared to the Gophers 6'2" guards so I think the Badgers win the back court convincingly. Minnesota lost to Ohio St in double overtime when sophmore Kayden Betts intentionally fouled Ohio St thinking they were up 3 but it was only 2 and OSU made both FT to send it to 2OT"s. They Gophers say they aren't going to let that get them down, but I think it's going to be very difficult. Wiscy on a four game win streak. Blowout, Badgers by 17.
