Had a bit of Excitement after work tonight...

So I'm by the Gimnasio National sitting waiting for a bus to Santa Ana.
I pulled out my Ipod for the the ride home, while I'm picking an Album to listen to, two guys come up, one guy tries to snatch it out of my hand and another guy punches me...I've been hit harder play fighting...

I wouldn't let go of the Ipod and uppercut the guy who was trying to grab it. Then went for the other guy but they both took off into traffic and back towards the tennis club

In my mind I just kept thinking "Are you punks serious"

Thanks it's was nuts...Thats actually the reason I didn't chase them across the street because I didn't know if they would have a knife or something.

I actually had a baseball hat snatched off my head while I was walking not far from Mall San Pedro. I had a brief case in one hand an umbrella in the other and the thief looked about 40 years younger than me so I just let him keep running.

Unbelievable when they steal the hat right off your head, I can't even remember the name of the team on the cap.

KB glad u are ok, Jack u are right. I have a cheap phone it works great. wear a $15 seiko watch. a tico offered me $20 for it but i just couldnt do it. lol I carry less than $100 on me unless i need more. leave credit card bank card at home unless need.

Saw on news last week a tico got shot and killed by tico just for a cell phone.

Several years ago, a friend from university jumped me from behind, like jumping on my back for me to carry her. Damn near killed me to death. I had just taken out a discman and I thought I was getting mugged. Pissed me off to no end. This right smack in the middle of SJ.

Another time, getting off the bus, a guy swiped my hat, my reaction as I turned around was to fling my arm at him to try and hit him and instead I ended up grabbing my own cap and took it back from him He just laughed his ass off and kept on going.
