I feel the line is low because Pittsburgh is at home and they possess a very good lineup. Taillon was prized and projected to be better than Cole. Taillon has a bulldog personality to go along with top 2 MLB starter stuff. He will be a solid fixture in the rotation for the next 6 years. So......does that translate into a win for the Pirates tonight? I say NO. NYM will win this game 7-5. Over is the play in my opinion.
Well I've actually taken the over 1st 5 and the team total over for the team (depending on team obv) opposing the rookie for more than the side and done well. Looking at it though the mets scare me a bit on the team total as they haven't been scoring lately. Now that I've looke more into prob why line is fairly close with syndergard. Might buy the hook, pay the juice, and bet the 1st 5 over 3. Idk
Syndergard and Taillon actually came in the same draft, Taillon second overall, Syndergard 20th (think I have that order correct). Guy over at covers said he saw tape of Taillon's last outing and he was "erratic" at best which I take to mean all over the place. That kind of performance won't bode well tonight. GL

thanks a lot for the info. Just had put bet in and feel better lol. Still might lose but got lucky to not push my big bet on Red Sox total last night (bought hook to 7). Played over 3 1st 5 for pretty big and mets 1st 5 for smaller. Now u making me want to put a little on the mets team total. I usually do against the rookies debut. Wish the mets were hitting a little better of late
