I said I would never bet CFB again but this year there are just soooo many advantages with the new alignments in the Power conferences. Can't wait for the teams from sunny California to visit Wisconsin and Iowa in November.

Both Georgia and Florida St will look to make a statement after missing out last yrs playoffs.Ga because of one lousy 3 pt loss to Bama and FLA ST because of some gutless committee that decided defense can't win games. I think both will make opening game statements

Georgia -13.5 Grabbing this before it hits 15.Clemson offense won't keep up

MINNY-2 NC lost Maye and Minny will be a home team with a better QB and defense

PENN ST -10 They should be a top 10 team and have been covering machines as favorites

NWESTERN -3-120 They miss Fitzgerald but this line is low vs MID AMERICAN team

NEBRASKA -28 no one in the country lost more offensive firepower than UTEP.
They should really stink this yr.

ARIZONA -30.5..I expect this to be 34-35 by game time.Only concern is the coach leaving.

LSU -6 Long trip .LSU has lost a lot but so did USC and Kelly knows how to prepare kids for the Colosseum.

TEMPLE U 2.5 -140 Should be the worst team. team was bad and their best player and QB left via the Portal

RUTGERS O 6 -150 They were a bowl team last yr and the are better .Schiano is some coach. There is a reason he gets over 6 million

UCF U 7.5 +105 They are a good team but with a really tough sched. 5 road games and 2 home games are Arizona and Utah

JAX ST -3.5 Revenge game Coastal will be having a down yr this year Jax St SHOULD win this by at least 8

TCU/STANFORD O 61.5 2 TEAMS that are looking to play fast . Weather providing this game should hit 70s

some early observations:

MIAMI could make the college playoff.
NOTRE DAME and PENN ST could go undefeated with their defenses .the first has a pretty doable schedule and the later has their 2 tough opponents at home and Ohio State will definitely be a WHITE OUT night.

These TOUTS are a joke .Most of their BIG PLAYS lost. How could anyone bet so much on west Va line down 3 points when most people with a brain know the James Franklin tries to cover spreads for his boosters and has an unreal record as a Favorite.
and how can you bet against the team with the better Defense, Qb and Coach getting points. I said the same thing in the Super Bowl . Yet Tex Am wound up a 3 point favorite.

TEXAS -6.5 I couldn't get it when it came out at 3.5.I also had liked under 47.5 and Mich TT U 22.5 but all those lines are gone.
I have Texas winning this game by double digits. Michigan D will wear down and they don't have the offensive fire power to keep up.
Much like Clemson last week

BOIST ST +18.5 I think Boise has a good outside chance to make the College playoff and they need a good showing here. Oregon didnt play their full playbook last week for sure but I still think this line is 8-10 points too high

NAVY -13 Temple on the road 2 weeks in a row and they are terrible. i have Navy 34- 16

USF +31 HAVE TO DO IT..Used to work there when i was in Tampa. Last yr they kept this game close but really couldn't score. But by the end of the yr they were a completely different team. Bama is slightly better than last yr but U South Florida is significantly better. Their coach has has success last year and as a coordinator at Tenn the year before

PITT +2 PITT D not great and they really aren't road warriors but that transfer QB looked great and I believe they will play at a fast pace and just have too much firepower

ILLINOIS +5 I like when home teams get 5 points and kansas has improved but to win on the road like this..I think this a FG game either way
