By the time today ends, I'll have worked 14 straight 12 hour days - boy am I bushed! Being the boss isn't all roses and clover - but the pay check is nice!

I haven't had the time to aggravate Doc et al, but I'm making the time to wish all of you a Merry Christmas!

Supervising slaves is a very tough business BB.

It always amazes me how no supervisor ever demotes themselves back to galley-slave status, no matter how 'tough' it gets.

I'm salaried - I don't get paid any overtime at all -and it's a union shop, so most of my slaves are very well paid! They were working 10 hour days, and getting nice overtime, and they only worked 1/2 day Saturday and not at all on Sunday. It's my responsibility to make sure everything that has to happen does happen.;If I have to spend 24 hour days at work, then that's what I do! Luckily, I have an excellent and well experienced crew; all of our tasks were performed on time and within budget. As of yesterday afternoon, they all got to go on vacation throught the 2nd.

The payoff is that I get to loaf around through the end of the year - my end of year work is just about done and the pressure is off.
