I have seen teams at the local Rec Center that are better than Iran. I seriously wouldn't touch them, on the other side I wouldn't ever lay that many points....especially in only a 40 minute basketball game, so I wouldn't touch it, but that's just my opinion.
I am actually on the other side of the Germany vs. China game, I will probably put a small play on China. Neither team has very good guards. Nowitzki gets double and sometimes triple teamed everytime he touches the ball, which forces him to get almost all of his points in transition. China is a home dog who should have beat the 2nd best team in the tournament(Spain.) This is a elmination game so I will take the home team and the points, but for a small play.
I bought the US down to -12 and placed a small play on them. I guessed the line on this game would be 15 and sure enough it came out at 15. The USA places more perimeter pressure on the ball than any team possibly in the history of Basketball, Spain has a significant drop off between the starting PG and the back-up PG. That's going to force him to play basically the entire game while the US keeps throwing fresh guys at him. Watching them, I said to myself that this US team would win everygame by at least double digits, that doesn't leave much wiggle room if you have Spain plus 12, therefore I laid the 12.
