Line moved to -7.5 New Orleans about 25 mins before the game - probably due to Chandler starting.

We are all on the hot home dog with the points right?

I like that New Orleans may have a "lookahead" game here with Spurs tomorrow night. So the points with Memphis look great in this spot.

What the heck happened.... Memphis hasn't scored in forever since I posted. 26-11. Wow. Can they go on a 10-0 run somewhere in 2nd quarter?

Alright, nice 9-2 run start 2Q. 28-20 now a fighting chance to cover.

Memphis had it within 5 but kept letting NO push the lead back up to between 7-9.

49-42 at the half, which ain't bad considering where we were in the first half. 15-point deficit and made 8 of that back this quarter.

Memphis needs to make half-time adjustments though because they have given NO a ton of FT's. 23 FT attempts by NO vs. 11 by Memphis, though Memphis got a bunch of FT's towards the end there else that difference would look even uglier.

Memphis has 2 starters with 3 fouls - Lawry and Gasol. Chandler has 3 for NO so this could be a factor if Chandler gets a 4th foul early.

Mayo has 0 fouls and 12-pts. He seemed out-of-sync first quarter (well, entire team was) but seemed in sync now.

If Memphis doesn't get into foul trouble and can counter NO's strategy that gets NO to the line so often, this one will be a game. If NO gets another 20 FT's in 2nd half then it could be double digit loss (though NO only hit 69% so that helped).

Nice! Quick strike on a 9-2 run and the game is tied!

Milicic has 3rd foul for Memphis, so 3 starters with 3 fouls with 7:42 to go in 3rd.

Here's a strategy for Memphis... Go at Chandler - it is either suicidal or brilliant. He'll either be brilliant on defense, or will let up not wanting to commit his 4th foul early in 3rd, or he will defend and get his 4th foul early. Yeah, totally over-analyzing, but what else is an armchair benchwarmer supposed to do?

NO went on 5-0 run to stretch lead to 56-51, then Memphis went on their own 4-0 run, including an offensive foul on Chandler (the 4th one I've been wanting). This lead to Chandler Technical, but Mayo missed the TFT.

Memphis needs to stop missing FT's though.

Chandler has 5 fouls so that's good. Armstrong has 3 for NO. I figure Chandler will be out until the 8-minute mark or if Memphis gets on a good run.
