Thank god hockey is back. I realized this past week how awful I am at capping ncaa and nba ball.

Play of the Day - Year to Date - (5-3) +2 units

1. Columbus +130

Columbus, despite all of their recent injuries the past month, had been playing very well lately before their 3 game road trip where they ended up 1-2. The main reason I like them tonite is the fact that Detroit;

1) has not fared ATS on the road this year (5-20 ATS). Combine that with the fact that they are 0-12 ATS as a Favorite between 151-175. This makes sense because the public loves DET and will jump on a line like this whenever they see it.
2) will be missing two key players in Lidstrom and Datsyuk (suspended).
3) may also be missing Stuart and Franzen is hurt.
4) has Osgood starting who has been playing less than stellar this year.

If the match-up is between Osgood and Mason, I like Columbus at home at +130 with Mason. Columbus is also getting back some key players who have been hurt all season.

well to answer your questions in order;


1) Detroit is 5-20 over all ATS. if you bet a team and it wins, you are 1-0.

in the next game, if that team is a -300 favorite, and they lose, their overall record is now 1-3.

2) spread, moneyline, whatever your tiny little heart wishes to call it. what do you call it?

3) i used to smoke a lot of cannabis while i was in college, but at the current time i am drug free. it blurs my picks.

i thought this forum had mostly experienced people? don't they check id's here.

personally i play all of them straight up. the system plays i put .75 units on, and the non-systems i put .50 units on. i personally wager a lot, so i have to keep it down a little.

if there are a few i like, or even two i like more than the others, i put them in a parlay or reverse.

for example tonite, putting Columbus in a parlay would make sense only due to fact that their is value in their line at +130. a 3 team parlay with the over in the PHL/FLA game, Minn -200 and Columbus would be a parlay that in my opinion has a high probability of covering and make sense in terms of the risk/reward ratio.

i really put all my picks out there so that if someone had the same opinion with one of my mine, they would have another solid opinion backing them up

1) you guys might be right... it probably is puck line... i could really care less either way. the point was, Detroit sucks on the road ATS, puckline, + a touchdown, whatever (even more so when they are a favorite between -150-175.)

2) i don't think i was being rude at all, seeing how he questioned me being on drugs on all.

if he knew me, he would have known that when I do drugs and have a good night capping i dance like this.

Listen man. NoJuice was sticking up for me cause I think you took my question as a smart ass comment. I bet Columbus last night and agreed with your analysis of it. My question was geared only toward your reasoning of 5-20 ATS. I dont want you misinforming people or me misinforming people since we had different views of what it meant.



Im not sure if any of your anger or hostility is directed toward me, I hope not, cause nothing I said should warrent it. If you have a problem with my original question I asked you then I will stay out of your threads. If not, I think you may have misunderstood my original question.
