12/3 SATURDAY rainy Cigar Mile Day

AQUEDUCT
R1 - #1 One Bite (10-1) this could end up being a two-horse race between the 2 & 5, but the track is supposed to be wet and McCracken is a more than solid mud sire, so why not take a shot at a decent price.
R2 - #4 Loon Cry (3-1) dam has 3 winners from 3 starters (although none won at 2). Last work was super slow, which is a good sign with Clement.
R3 - #1A Viradia (5-2) Loves the off track and seems to outclass this field on paper. Wish they were running on paper.
R4 - #3 Clash AJ (15-1) drops from MSW and gets a capable bug. Should be in a perfect spot off the speed.
R5 - #5 Turn of Events (6-1) Falcone strong off the claim - switches to dirt which is a bit of an unknown, but Franco is attracted, so I am too.
R6 - #5 Affirmative Lady (10-1) Julia Shining is probably a special animal and will crush this field, but won't get my money at 3-5 (or worse).
R7 - #2 Tuskegee Airman (8-5) Here's my single.
R8 - #1 Love In The Air (10-1) runs her best when fresh and is dropping 6 pounds. Always in the mix.
R9 - #3 White Abarrio (9-2) betting on the Saffie juice surprising Zandon. By the way, how does the morning linemaker put O'Besos at 99-1? He could win this.
R10 - #7 Skylander (6-1) not sure what happened in last, but gets a jockey upgrade today and should love the off track.

Results from yesterday were terrible. How many times do I need to be punched in the face with a wet track before I learn to stay away.

Fast track = much better results with 4 out of 6 winners and a place. Too bad it was so chalky.

FAIRGROUNDS possible rain today
R1 - #6 Honeysuckledelight (5-2) on the improve since the freshening - finally maturing?
R2 - #6 Big Scully (4-1) was highly thought of as a 2yo, running at Saratoga in The Hopeful. Now you can have him for $12.5k. If it does rain I like his chances even more.
R3 - #6 Greeley Went West (7-2) finally back to the perfect surface and distance.
R4 - #5 Lightning Struck (9-2) big drop in class and a jockey upgrade - pace should suit him.
R5 - #2 Stockpiler (7-2) BEST BET, only worry is the #7 (lone speed) but he's more likely to fold in this long stretch.
R6 - #1 Moment (5-2) another race where the main competition is bound to tire out late. If the speed is holding today I'm dead.
R7 - #3 Ready For Change (6-1) the rail horse looks like the nuts, but at what price? this one loves the track but does have to deal with ice-cold Beschizza.
R8 - #8 Pipes and Drums (10-1) taking another shot with a solid closer - praying he is feeling frisky after the freshening.
R9 - #6 Star Ready (12-1) first time for a tag, first time Lasix, and first time gelded. Not sure who this jockey is but it could be his first time on a horse as well...

12/18 SUNDAY

AQUEDUCT
R1 - #3 Sourcing Network (1-1) She's certainly not sneaking up on anyone - in the words of Nuke Laloosh, "I'm going to announce my presence with authority."
R2 - #6 El Mayor (12-1) He seemed to be figuring things out last winter before being sent to the grass in a failed experiment. Gelded since last effort and could surprise.
R3 - #3 Run Devil (9-2) 2nd off looong layoff due to injury at GP. If she's fit, she's better than this field.
R4 - #9 Miami Chrome (20-1) Dropping to lowest level ever as he comes back 8 days after falling - but still fits against this crowd at what could be monster odds.
R5 - #8 Watasha (6-1) Moves to Mott barn and FINALLY gets stretched out to what should be a more preferred distance. #9 will take a ton of action keeping our price more than fair.
R6 - #4 Lady Empire (30-1) I did a little digging and found her siblings did quite well on the dirt so I'm going to ignore the lackluster efforts on grass to begin her career. Huayas seems to be a competent bug - this would be a bomb.
R7 - #10 More Mango (12-1) as we continue on with our double-digit theme today, I am drawn to another apprentice ride - 10 pound weight allowance after being very competitive at this level a couple of weeks ago at 20-1.
R8 - #2 Gulfstream Way (4-1) He'll make the lead, just a question of if he can keep it.
R9 - #1 Mo Rewards (6-1) Bred to go long and now makes first try at 2 turns on dirt. I like the class hike despite being beaten as a favorite in last try.
R10 - #2 Sly Stone (20-1) Here's hoping I can hit one of these big long shots today - just one, that's all I ask. Sly isn't bred for grass, so I forgive that race, and I also forgive his 2nd try as he almost fell at the break. Now drops to $25k when he hasn't been able to show what he can do yet.
