Last night was just horrible with the big 3 liberalism more than offset by Fox pro Bush.

What set me off tonight was (and i apoligize for forgetting who reported these stats) a report statig Bush did no better among blacks and jews.

Per report the same report
Bush went from 9% of black vote (amazing peter jennings said balcks way more thsan african americans last night) to 11%. which is actually a 22% increase from the last election (pretty good in my view)
Bush went from 19% to 25% of the jewish vote which is actuallya 32% increase from the last election (jews represent approx 2% of voters so the sample is relatively small)

just had to get that off my chest. going to bed

First of all the correct term for Blacks are African Americans. The correct term for jews are Jewish people. Only people who dislike Jewish people refer to them as "Jews".

actually the pc term is now "black" per jesse jackson. he changed it about 3 yrs ago when he said the term "african american" is a feeble attempt at cultural sensitivity. the only people that still seem to use the term are social workers.

As much as I tend to disagree with Baseball Guy, I have to call a spade a spade. I would tend to look at the term "Jew", to be somewhat degrading.

Sorry for any confusion, was writing this late last night before I went to bed.


For clarification, I am Jewish.
As i am unsure of everyones faith on the forum I should have been more sensitive in referencing the group.

Jewsish people call each other Jews much like Blacks call each other Nigger within their own culture, but it is considered offensive for others to use the term (both in reference ot blacks and jews).

Still dispointing that Bush only received 25% of the Jewish vote considering he has been fairly pro Israel.
