Um this is the number with Yao out... It was at -3.5 lakers... 2.5 points is a lot and you may never know when a person off the bench just might step up.

Orlando did it twice with Howard out one game and Rafer out another. Lakers did it with Fisher out too...

While this is true, you needto factor in who Yao's backup is/was: dikembe Mutumbo. He's out for the season. This is more than a "normal" drop in quality when Yao is out.

the thing is yao is such a big influence on the rockets offense and defense.. mainly the offense without him theyre loosing one of their 2 main scorers. and i really doubt their role players can step up enough
