In one of the worst kept secrets on the forums I want to confirm I am officially resigning on the 23rd of this month. I have absolutely no bad feelings towards the RX or the owners and feel safe in saying it is mutual. I had discussed with Ken way back only finishing out until the end of football season, I like it here but it's a lot of work for me. People looking for dirt or to hurt other people will be barking up the wrong tree here, I leave on good terms with this place. Ken and I disagreed at times but we worked it out best we could, sometimes it was changed to my point of view, sometimes it stayed the way he wanted. Obviously being it was his site he had the last say. Overall though I think we worked very well together as a team and this has nothing to do with him, from start to finish this has been a very enjoyable 6 months for me. The place is booming and I only expect it to continue in that same direction.
I have zero regrets here and I learned a great deal. Yes I suppose I made some "enemies" here (some within minutes of signing on) but I do not take any of that seriously and hope none of my combatants do either. By an overwhelming majority the people I met and the experiences I had made this a great adventure for me. Some things we did very well I thought and at others I surely could have done better. In both instances I thank the RX for the opportunity here, made a lot of friends here I will never forget. I think the site is left in very capable hands and I will still be a participant. I have always thought of the RX as my home and nothing has changed that.
My wife and I run two small businesses and we like to travel togther. I got two 1969 327 Chevy Nova's in the garage to tinker with and a novel to finish up that I have been writing for 2 years now. It will be my first one if I ever get done with it. I also like to gamble as most of you know and all of my DB's from bases, hoops and football are way behind. In short I have plenty to keep me busy. I will be here hanging around trying to stay out of the way until the 23rd, please feel free to contact me if you are one I have gotten to know during my time here. There's an old Irish saying, may you have the hindsight to know where you've been, the foresight to know where you're going and the insight to know when you're going too far. I have loved it here and leave with a heavy heart but the time has come for me to move on. God bless all of you.
