McCrazy's NCAAF 2011 Week 2 plays (YTD = 6-5)

YTD Record for NCAAF 2011 = 6 - 5, 54.55%

No play for Thursday. I would lean OSU, but the line is too tight. I also lean over, but 65 is a lot of points. There is nothing I like about this game, so I'm passing.

Haven't decided if I like anything on Friday yet, but I'll have a few Saturday plays for sure. They'll be up sometime Friday night or early Saturday morning. BOL!

Sometimes. I try to stick more with sides though, as I feel my capping style gives me more of an edge towards sides. But I will play some totals, usually more often NFL then NCAAF. It's a lot of work to cap all the NCAAF games per week just for sides alone. Throw in totals and it's almost unmanageble, considering I have a full-time job and only do this for some fun on the side as a hobby (and to win some money of course!)

Out of 11 plays in week 1, 3 were totals and I went 2-1 on them. I was only 4-4 on side bets, but since matchups are a huge part of my capping style, I seem to get better results on sides later in the season, obviously because I have more recent data from the current year to work with.

In Preseason NFL, I made 12 total plays and went 7-4-1. What's a bit funny is I went 8-8-1 on my side bets in preseason, so I actually made profit on the totals. I'm much stronger with NCAAF than NFL though in general.

FIU/Louisville O 48

Don't like the sides tonight, but I see value in this Over.

I lean towards the under in the Missouri/Arizona st game, but have not pulled the trigger yet. If FIU/Louisville is looking goo I might make a 2nd play tonight on the under in the late game.

It's hard to be unhappy with a winning week, even if it was again a small profit. But if only Hawaii had managed to complete the comeback when down 21 points after the 1st quarter and actually made that extra point with less than 2 minutes to go in the game, I would have been 5-1 today instead of 4-2. Nevertheless, up money after 2 weeks make me happy with the start because A) I'm capping half decent and B) in another week or 2 matchup stats will better reflect the reality because the stats will be averaged over 3 or 4 games.
