Sarah Palin of "I thought Africa was a country" fame, is not endorsed by her former running mate.

McCain refuses to say he'd back Palin for president in 2012

Last update: December 15, 2008 - 8:26 AM

Sen. John McCain pointedly refused to say Sunday that he would back Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin if she runs for president in 2012, saying there are plenty of other good people in the Republican Party to consider, including Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty.

"Oh, no," McCain said on ABC's "This Week" program when asked if his former running mate could count on his support.

"Listen, I have the greatest appreciation for Governor Palin and her family, and it was a great joy to know them. She invigorated our campaign. ... But I can't say something like that. We've got some great other young governors.

"I think you're going to see the governors assume a greater leadership role in our Republican Party." As examples, he mentioned Pawlenty -- whom McCain passed over for Palin -- and Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman."

John isnt a smart man when it comes to economics....or even simple addition for that matter, but this is proof he does have common sense. He couldn't possibly support someone dumber then him to lead this nation.

Thats a great sign...if McCain doesn't back Palin.

He can keep doing what he does best...sucking up to the left and schmoozing with idiots like Letterman that mock him.

My point exactly.........this is mainstream news??? this is bunk bullshit that 1st off is a total misleading lie...(Palin has said she isnt running and the other point above) and 2nd means the writer is either an idiot or paid to write it......and i lean to both.

3peet using this lame example to take a broad swipe at
all Republicans, making some lame-ass comment that doesn't
apply to 99% of any Americans out there, but since it is
a filthy biased slur against the Republican party, it makes him
feel good, so he spews it out there.

Yeah. But there are several versions of the article. Just do a search in google or yahoo news.

The quote is centered around what McCain said anyways, it is not like it is just some made up for bed time story.

ABC news. Thats where the comments were made.

These are the type of people that worked the Obama campaign.

No wonder it's already mired in scandal. :drink:
