McCain is getting CRUCIFIED on Letterman

Holy shit man. In the beginning he was a pretty good sport about it and all was great. But man, I've never seen any reporter grill McCain the way Letterman is right now. Just the segment on Sarah Palin was excruciating. Man even I felt bad for McCain because he kept having to reassure Dave, the audience, and the millions of viewers watching that Sarah is the right choice and can lead the country should John go down.

You could clearly see Dave nor the audience were convinced. There was a definite sense of tension during that segment.

WOW I didn't know you had the stones to go after McCain like that Dave. Jesus.

The whole Ayers thing is being run through the mill as well. Dave is telling him it doesn't matter and John's stating his case.

wow...like I said, I've never seen any reporter go after McCain like Letterman did. It was almost a damn interogation. Question after follow up question, after different angled follow up question.

McCain may have taken it well but it was clear the audience wasn't sold any of McCains justification of Palin and Ayers.
