There won't be much voting in Fallujah come January, it will be a pile of rubble with a displaced civilian population.
BTW. The marines will just roll in there IMO, and the Iraqi resistance that remains in Falluja will melt away into the populace.
Falluja will be a damp squib, overhyped as a massive victory.
Then the trouble will pop up somewhere else.
You had all this stuff in Vietnam.
The only time you got a headbutting contest was Khe-Sahn.
The rest of the time, they melt away.
