They're a weaker and less talented version.

Nuggets just lost at home to the Pistons. In come the heartless Mavs who the Nuggets have owned recently and beat them 5 of 6 and 3 straight. No Melo no problem, JR Smith and Kleiza will make up for his absence. Nuggets will rebound nicely here and this the perfect team for them to do it against.

HFK, I liked the NUgs vs Det but laid off it. They were leading early but somehow lost at end? Did you catch the game or see what went wrong? Im leaning nugs as well but not sure where the scoring will come from if we need a big bucket in the end. I know you have more insight on the nugs then me, I caught 2 games of theirs this season and one was the espn game vs the Heat where they looked decent.. but they let the heat hang around almost the whole game it seemed. I was on the Nugs that night.. pulled away at end but it was close. Then they lose to a banged up Det team at home. Hmm I know Jr Smith and Chauncey will do their thing.. the dude with the spikey hair and tats should get his rebounds and energy.(LOL forgot his name). Hmm.. Howard out for Mavs.. but the mavs gotta be desperate for a W right now. Tough one for me.

Chris Anderson, and I know nene will go off. Also, Kleiza the guy who is in for Melo had a huge game vs the Heat (21 PTS, 7 REB). Then came out with a goose egg vs Det 1 pt, 4 reb in 34 minutes... Dont think he will match up well with Dirk.

The Mavs have Dirk and Terry, who else is going to score anything for them?

Detroit was on fire in the fourth and cut the lead to 1 with about two minutes left. Then they both kept missing shots and Pribe gave them the lead with about 20 secs left. Jr had a chance to tie it when he was fouled on 3 point at. but missed one ft.

The Mavs may be hungry for a win but they really struggle vs. the Nuggets. And with the Nugs coming off a home loss already I'm sure they want this just as much.

per ESPN:

Denver's strong play against Dallas, though, has been largely dependent on Anthony. Since drafting the two-time All-Star in 2003, the Nuggets are 0-3 against the Mavericks when he doesn't play. They've lost 11 straight games against Dallas without Anthony since a 102-100 home victory Jan. 27, 2001.

DEN is 4-3 su and ats w/o melo. at home they are 3-1 su and 2-2 ats. they dont rely on him as much as in the past, but that stat from espn is a little scary.

Get on it early, it will about 8 or 9 by tipoff.
You just talked me out of the nuggets....You were big on the C's against the Cavs and then you kept talking up the Spurs the other night against the Magic. I wouldn't touch one of your big plays with your money

I learned my lesson going against the two hottest teams in the league ATS and straight up. The Mavs are the complete opposite of that.
