I like a small value bet on JMM. Even a fighter of Floyd's caliber will have some ring rust after a long layoff. A lot of people think Pacquiao would beat Floyd... if you share this sentiment then why wouldn't you take Marquez at +350? JMM took it to Pacquiao twice in what were 2 highly controversial decisions. My guess is that if Floyd fought Pacquiao the odds makers would have it close to a pick 'em. The favorite would probably at no point be higher than -150, so what's not to like about taking JMM at such a good price? The negatives of course are that Marquez is moving up in weight and will be fighting at the highest weight of his career, plus he's getting older (but has still looked sharp in all his recent fights).

It's not necessarily that I'm sure JMM will win, but all the betting value is on JMM so it's smart to make a small value bet. In a fight that features 2 counter punchers with heart and solid chins, it's also likely that this fight goes the distance. I'm going to make a small play on JMM to win, possibly an even smaller play on JMM to win by decision, and a medium-sized play on the fight to go over the rounds total (which I assume will be 11.5 but I haven't even checked it yet).
