That Cleveland loss today was just too much for me to take. Add to that the stupid fucking Oakland Raiders letting Buffalo complete a 65 yard pass on 4th and 18....that lost my bet for the game AND the 2nd half.

Pro football is just too fucking hard when shit like this happens every damn week.

Fuck the players, their union, their wives, the coaches and even their wives.....and especially the owners. FUCK THEM ALL...I'm in a meltdown.

How about that Arizona game last night. I had the UND-46 and with 30 seconds left score 44-0, they let the other team get an 85 yard punt return for a touchdown.

I think most posters are licking their wounds tonight but as Hansen says, its only the start of the season. I honestly cant remember a season where I have not been in a hole early on and every year I tell myself not to bet the first 3 weeks. The only saving grace I have is halveing my stakes and as the song says, you have to get in to get out.

Personally, I think you are making a wise decision as long as you stick to your convictions. It is a wise man who can separate his strengths from his weaknesses. If college football is where you have success, then that is where you should wager. If pro football, you not only dislike, but believe you cannot win, it would be foolish to try and be successful at it. Concentrate on your strengths and maybe just try to enjoy the rest.

LSU Pete, It wasn't too profittable for me this weekend as my games went something like this, win-loss-win-loss-win-loss-win-loss. I feel that at least 2 of those losses could have easily been winners. I also had 2 pushes this past week that should have been winners. After gambling all weekend, starting Friday, i am very close to even but i feel that i should be ahead but i could have easily lost what i have right now except that the win-loss cycle has balanced it out. I had the 2nd half under on that one. The receiver for ASU couldn't have just gone down in bounds. Nooooo. He had to go out of bounds stopping the clock with like 18 seconds left. Then the ASU punter booms one instead of punting a knuckle ball so the Iowa guy runs it all the way back.
