Looks like mariOta just won himself a heismann trophy. Outstanding season and finishing strong in the pac12 championship in inclement weather. Stud.

Being from NJ I really hope the Jets get him next year! I could see him being the new face of the franchise and getting the team back on track. Fingers crossed.

Whoa!! He's the best collegiate QB. Not so sure how his skills will translate to the next level. His game reminds me a lot of Kaep's.

I don't like Kaep's decision making... MM has him beat there

Dude have you seen our qb situation recently? I will take Mariota's decision making and arm strength all day!

I prefer the kid from Cal as a better pro prospect. Mariota is a stud collegiate qb but the scheme he plays with and the offense contribute to that. He's a running qb.

I would actually have Gordon as the Heisman........everyone in the stadium knows he is getting the ball and he still gashes the opposing defenses.....if Gordon had a decent QB there would be no telling what he could do.......where Mariota has talent all around him.......but everyone knows this is now a QB award so he will win it

My Gordon prop was soooo fucking close but no doubt Mariota gets it.

no doubt about it but 10 years ago Gordon probably takes the award because RB's were valued more than they are now.......he would at least have a realistic shot but not in todays game

Ingram won it recently so its not just QB's.. money wise it would be great for me if Gordon wins it at 20/1...Mariota at 8/1 will have to do

In the 70`s and 80`s you had a bunch of RB`s win it.

Im not saying its just QB's and Ingram did win it in 2009 but 12 of the last 13 were QB's.........Gordon has 2260 yds rushing and 26 TD's on a team without a QB.........that's better than Ingram, Eddie George, Ricky Williams, Rashaan Salaam, and Reggie Bush who had his taken away........

Mariotta is going to win and is deserving but if it was my vote I would STRONGLY consider Gordon considering he is basically the whole team where MM has plenty of weapons at his disposal
