March Madness Calcutta's in Texas or even OKC....

hey fellas, i live in Dallas and am curious if anyone is hosting or knows someone hosting a march madness calcutta anywhere in Texas or even in OKC either of the next two nights. I normally am involved in a fairly large calcutta auction every year in Houston but the guy was real busy this year and didn't have time to organize it. The size of the calcutta is not a factor for me, because i have two other guys who are on my team also. its a live auction where you auction off all 64 teams and you get paid a % of the overall pot based on eahc game one of your team wins

Pike,

I used to go to one in the Park Cities Hotel with some sponsorship from Horsehoe in Shreveport. Did this one for 5 yrs or so. Pot got up over 200k.

That went away.

Then i went to one in Sullivans Steakhouse and it only went one yr.

I heard the guy got scared carrying all that $$$. Most of it was in checks but nevertheless he wasn't sure who all was in the crowd and he just didn't do it any more.

I have heard there is one at the Gleneagles CC but that may just be a rumor.

It was mostly a golfing/sportsbetting crowd with prob a few bookies.

Have not been to one in the last 2 yrs.
