The Irish Times, Sat March 6th.

Problem continues for HASI members.

Members of HASI ( Hansen Appreciation Society of Ireland) were again struck with horror this morning. After going on-line they were hit with the realisation that they had missed another of Mr Hansen’s winning picks.

Because of the 5 hour difference in time zone, many of the members missed the 1-13am( GMT) posting. Mr Winbet, Chair-Person for HASI, told The Times “ Its impossible for us to stay up late every night. We did have some software that alerted us of a post through-out the night but being awoken at 3-00 am only to read Mr Hansen’s view of the political situation in Outer Mongolia has made us look for other options. I myself am considering making my kids take turns on watch through the night. The amazing thing is, the missed posts are always winners”

Mr Winbet said he would be in contact with his U S counterparts with view to solving the problem and also added what a great job Mr Hansen is doing

Hansen,

I lived in London all my life so golf was at a premium. I moved to Co Sligo 7 years ago for an easier life and better surroundings for the kids. We have 3 Championship links courses within 30 min, great fishing and scenery that inspired the poet WB Yeats, who lived here.

You are more than welcome to visit but because of people coming and going, I can only give you my 100% attention late July, early August. Accommadation, cars, golf, fishing gear, sight seeing and drinking is no problem. Advanced notice is everything, let me know
