A man walked into a bank and handed the teller a note demanding money. The teller quickly gave him what came out to $7,000. The robber walks out.

The problem is the guy behind him in line saw the transaction and noticed it seemed awfully suspicious. So he decided to follow the man out of the bank. He saw him walk across the street and change clothes and dump his robbing clothes in the trash. The man then walked next door to Dania Jai-Alai, where they also have poker tables.

When the police arrived, the man who witnessed the robbery told them what he saw. The police entered the fronton where they found the bank robber, wearing the same distinctive hat he had on in the bank, sitting at a poker table with chips.

Nice try buddy. Thats one way the keep the bankroll going thru the bad times.

krackman, care to elaborate on that statement?

I used to know a guy who played professionally at dania jai alai, although briefly. while he was playing I asked him about fixing a couple times, but he brushed the questions off, he obviously did not want to talk about it. I didnt know him that well so I didnt press it.

I was more interested in finding out if fixing was going on rather than wanting to put him up to it, but if he would have let me in on it, we could have worked something out.

Anyone who has even gone to a Jai Alai game in Dania knows the answer to that question.

Yes.. Fixing was rampant in the late 80's throughout the 90's.

I don't think they fix it anymore because frankly Dania Jai Alai has lost it's following.

It is probably not worth fixing, as the action is very very low compared to yesteryear.

thats right Jat C, as we all know, poker rooms, the lottery, casinos, slots at racetracks, all these things are just fine since the government is in on it. good for the country.

but gambling on the internet is BAD! we have to protect the children, etc, etc.
