I have a few plays today I feel are pretty strong.
First of which is...
Charleston -5 (-110)
They bring back their top 8 scorers from last year. They finished last year just one game under .500. Now with more experience, and a jump start on the year with 5 wins under their belt, including games against TCU, S. Carolina st. and against a good South Carolina team.
Now going against a 1-3 Elon team that brings back 3 starters and a few good bench players. This team really strugles to score points. Their 3 losses where to teams that aren't that bad, except for one game where they got blown out 82-65 @ tenn-martin. But then again, we are also throwing out Charlestons loss to Temple.
Either way, Charleston has much more depth and experience. Their backcourt is far superior, and their scoring ability is so much higher than poor Elon.
Second game...
Butler ML (+128)
This one is more of a gut feeling. Butler brings back 1 starter, and has 0 seniors. But jesus do they play defense. Clev st. is a good team, but I think they will struggle against such a good defensive team. Butler has faced much stiffer competition than Clev st. and they have just been rocking it. Not one team has scored over 60 points against them yet this year.
Third game...
Butler/Clev St under 120
These two teams play tones of defense. I don't see any way they go over this. No more write up or stats as my fingers are tired and I still need to cap the NBA, NFL and NCAAFB!!
