I said USC should have went with Westphal after the season. He is a better fit for the Trojans than Fatso. Former All-American, former NBA coach and plays an uptempo style and he could recruit So Cal kids pretty well. Heck, Alex Acker is probably the best So Cal college player this year.

A very strange situation indeed - Majerus, I believe, is a top TV analyst, I enjoyed his insight, and quite frankly I never saw him fitting in in SoCal (not that I've ever stepped foot in California). Bottom line, I think he'll be at ESPN for awhile, no need for a man of his stature (no weight jokes intended) to try to build a program, why not hang at the ESPN studios and offer some commentary?? Much better gig INHO.
