I think buying the hook to 14 is the way to go.

N Ill isn't as strong as recent years but they are still solid and play great in big MAC games. They have a shot to win straight up. I think bowling green wins 37-28.

In the past this game always seemed to have a coach leaving to take another job, and the trend was to play against the team who was losing their coach. BG's coach Babers name seems to be making the rounds so maybe his team does not come out as sharp in this one as they've played in the past. I think I read that NIU is gimpy at QB though, and I'm not sure how much depth they have after the 2nd string guy. But that seems like a lot of points to lay, probably safer to play the OVER on a fast track.

Do you guys still like the play even without the starting QB for N Illinois not playing? , he got injured last week.

Sorry, but i havent followed these two teams that much, thanks

I watched NIU's last game (because I bet on it) and all I have to say is after all of the hype, what a train wreck and POS performance. Offense, hahahahaha / Defense, hahahahaha. I believe Bowling Green is just going to roll over their ass but I am not going to bet on this game just because NIU took my money on the last game and if they backdoored, I'd be pissed at myself for betting on the game.

My understanding is that N. Illinois is on their 3rd/4th string QB from the start of the year and Syracuse University is sitting mum on new coach because he was still playing, but Babers is getting a lot of banter after Frost (Ducks) went to UCF. Au contraire,I hope BowlingGreen players think their coach is on the come..

Billsfan, I like Bowling Green tonight as payback from last year and the QB missed the game last year.N Illinois is down to the 3rd string QB and havent played well the last few weeks as they lost to Ohio U at Home but Toledo lost to W Mich so thats why they are here tonight. The only thing that scares me is that the BG coach is mentioned going to Syracuse and what is the team mental focus fpr the game tonight.

the line is set for a reason and as we've seen with other back-ups coming in (ie: Baylor) its the system most times not the qb

OK. The QB tonight for NIU is the guy who played last game after the other QB's went down. Of course NIU was playing catch up and this guy had some wide open receivers because the defense was playing loose. Now, he is 6'2" @ 192. He threw the ball extremely well and he ran the ball effectively when needed. I said to myself " This guy should have been playing the whole game." He brought some life back to the game for NIU. He was the highlight of the game in 4Q. I don't know what to expect from him tonight but if he gets hurt, who's going to replace him. The answer is no one.
