YTD 4-1

I had some damn computer problems that kept me from getting this out sooner but there's still plenty of time before kickoff.

Love this game today. LSU is off to a less than impressive start getting a huge break against Oregon State and then taking care of business against Arkansas State. Auburna has been solid demolishing Lousiana Monroe and Mississippi State.

Auburn strength is its running game behind Carnell Williams, who is probably the best RB in the SEC. Auburn looks solid early and has been eyeing this game for some time. Last year Auburn was embarrassed at LSU 7-31, so, revenge is a factor here. Moreover, I just think Auburn is the better team. Against Oregon State, LSU rushed 30 for 91 yards. Admittedly, it was a wet field, but Auburn's defense is vastly superior to Oregon State's and if LSU can't run (and they won't be able to) that leaves them attempting to win through the air and that's not their strength.

Auburn has had this game circled since last year and will be hungry to vault themselves into the national spotlight. Auburn is simply better on both sides of the ball and has gotten out of the box strongly. Expect it to continue today. Auburn is currently -1.5 to -2.0. This is fine. Auburn wins this game by 10-14 points and exposes LSU as a good but not great team. The value is on Auburn as LSU is still riding last years success.

Take Auburn and relax.

I suppose it doesn't really matter. At halftime, and the over isn't looking too good.

How about LSU +142 2nd half and the over 20.5

COME on PETE....I was looking for you to post the same. I think LSU turns it on and puts up points and Auburn presses, and turns the ball over

DO IT BABY!!!!

I think Auburn will put up ten points in the second half. But, I expect LSU to put up another 14...at least.

Looks like we were both wrong LSU Pete. Gotta feel like LSU got what they deserved though losing by a missed extra point. They should never have beaten Oregon State.

bullshit.

EVERYONE mentions the stupid missed extra points by Oregon State.....but none of you say anything about LSU missing two field goals and having a TD called back in that game. Oregon State was lucky to be as close as they were.

Bottom line is that Auburn is a good team and deserved to win today.

Southern Cal fans are celebrating everywhere (Railbird where are you). I had LSU ML and the under so I'm not happy with the outcome. LSU's kicking game is brutal. I actually thought the kickoffs and the punting did ok but man they need to find someone who can kick a ball through the uprights.
