Look for this to be officially announced on Monday. Looks like he's going to bring Muschamp as his DC and Coley (Miami) as his OC. Five years at 30 million.

I think he is an upgrade. Regardless of the stats being promoted, coach Miles had been slipping for the last four years. I'm not going to say anything bad about him, because I respect him.

$30M .........Ouch...That's a lot of money. I've always admired the "depth" of those Bayou pockets.

It will be interesting to see if any of this reverberates into the FSU/Fla game tomorrow.....

Muschamp is certainly making the "rounds" in college football. He must be a likeable guy.....Auburn had its defensive problems this year.

i take back my comments that LSU made a mistake firing Les as they couldnt do better. This was a good hire IMO.

I can only imagine the schools lining up to hire Les.....

If this is true, whomever gets the FSU gig will be walking into a good situation, team is loaded with young talent. Please no Mark Richt or Mark Stoops!

Wow..havent caught any wind of this yet.

How much is FSU paying him? It has to be a large increase to want to go head to head with Saban every year.

Mark Richt could complete the full circle. He would fit perfect in Tallahassee

Get ready because if Georgia does this the sole purpose would be to Hire Kirby Smart. Sexton has already planted the seed at South Carolina with one Goal to up the ante for Smart at Georgia.

Fisher makes $5M a year....also has $5M buyout. LSU is looking at sunk cost of $20M if they hire him, with Miles having $15M buyout....too much goodwill for Jimbo imho...

Miles buyout is certainly ridiculous, but if he gets hired (as everyone suggests) by another school, LSU is not responsible for the buyout.

If said is true jimbo won't be paying that buyout himself. He will negotiate it in his contract for LSU to pay it.

These se are the type of moves that can sink an athletic department. Miles buyout is just to big to buyout this year but too much steam going in the direction of canning him right now so they almost have too. Look at Tenner for example of how not to handle this.

Huge buyouts aren't in contracts to be paid, they are there to assure the coach and school are tied together. Now you've got idiotic fans demanding schools actually pay it out. No wonder like less than 15 P5 schools operate with a black budget and not red

Well, if you can't have Saban, hire Saban's boys. If the buyout information is true.....someone has huge balls and will be investing years into Fisher. It's great place to Coach for sure. Saban deep down probably wishes he never left.

I heard Bobby Bowden speaking on ESPN after he retired and he basically said that the only and biggest problem with coaching at FSU was getting a phone call from the local police or campus cops informing him that one of his players broke the law. He said it happened weekly and many times more than once a week. It was the only think he hated about FSU football.

I'm sure Fisher is sick of it too. I don't know what the stats are but FSU must have the highest player disciple issues of any school.

I think he's looking forward to a change.

lsu isn't any better. They've had numerous issues and miles always lets the team vote to let the player back on
